The Graduate Certificate (Missionary Leadership) equips students with the necessary spiritual foundations, theological knowledge, and the practical skills to become missionary leaders. Studies are delivered in intensives and facilitated sessions across the year. Students are provided with the theological foundations of mission, theories of ministerial leadership, and the tools of reflection with which to integrate tertiary learnings into their future practice of ministry. The Graduate Certificate (Missionary Leadership) is a program offered in partnership with the Areté Centre for Missionary Leadership. Students enrol through the University and gain access to the resources of University life. At the same time, they enter into a community of prayer and enquiry across the year, becoming prepared for leadership in mission. This Graduate Certificate will call upon both theoretical and practical learning, whereby students will participate in the activities of their local parishes, experiencing what it means to lead while serving.
